Hair removal cream has always been a popular item in beauty parlors and drugstores.
But a new study says the cream has a reputation for causing bad hair to appear on people who don’t want it, and it may also be making its way into the home.
The study, published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, found that people who used the cream at least once had twice as many facial wrinkles as those who didn’t use it, according to the Associated Press.
Researchers say people who use the cream may be more likely to have more facial wrinkles, and may be especially prone to the condition.
It is common for people to have facial wrinkles due to various factors, such as aging, stress, and even a medical condition.
“We have seen that people tend to have higher levels of the inflammatory marker interleukin-2 [IL-2] in their skin and that is linked to inflammation and the formation of facial wrinkles,” study author Dr. Yael Yadin told the Associated News.
“So we’re concerned about people who are more prone to facial wrinkles.
And we’ve also seen that facial wrinkles increase over time, so it may be a factor in the more severe forms of acne that occur in older people.”
The study also found that the cream was associated with more than three times the risk of developing a facial infection.
“Our research shows that it is likely that people using the cream have a higher risk of infection with an inflammatory marker in their body, which is associated with higher levels and more risk of inflammation,” Dr. Yosef Yadin, the lead author of the study, told the AP.
“The results are very consistent with what we have been observing and have been finding.”
According to the AP, the cream is also linked to a greater risk of infections such as rosacea, a condition in which the face is swollen and red.
People with rosaceas also tend to be more prone than those with other skin conditions to suffer from acne, according the AP’s report.
“People who use it may have higher risk for rosiasis and the development of other skin diseases,” Dr Yadin said.
“They may also have higher rates of chronic inflammation and other skin disorders.”
Dr. Alaa Shamsi, an associate professor of dermatology at the University of Toronto Medical Centre and a dermatologist, told The Associated Press that she was “not aware of anything in the world that could be more dangerous than this cream.”
Shamsie said that while the research was done with a group of people who had been using the product for years, the study did not provide proof that using the skin cream would cause facial wrinkles or other inflammatory markers to increase.
“You can’t really say that this cream is linked with facial wrinkles because we’re just asking people who have used it to take it for a short period of time to see what their results are,” Shamsia said.
According to Shamsies website, she is currently working on a study looking at how the cream can affect people with roscopavirus, a virus that causes severe skin infections.
“I think the most important thing is that we don’t allow this product to be a part of the routine and we don´t let people to just stop using it, because this product can cause skin problems,” Shimsi told the Canadian Press.
“It’s not a natural product.
You can’t just stop.
You have to stop it.”
The Associated News reports that Shams and other experts are calling on people to stop using the products.
Shamsy said she is working with dermatologists and skin care experts to find a better way to manage the cream.
“There’s a lot of people using it for the wrong reasons,” she told the newspaper.
“If you think about it, if you look at a lot more skin types, people have a lot to worry about.
You’re not getting enough sun exposure, you’re not drinking enough water, and your skin is not getting as much UV exposure.”
